Voting matters, whether it’s for the presidential election or for the midterms, it’s important to take the time to vote for the individual you want to represent you!
Our forever favorite FLOTUS, Michelle Obama has teamed up with Common for her “When We All Vote” campaign in order to get African American citizens out to the polls to vote!
In a newly released video, Common shared,
“Did you know that less than 60 percent of eligible African American citizens voted in the 2016 presidential election? This undermines our power as a people, and I am not willing to give my vote and my power away.”
The duo has teamed up in order to make a change in culture and start the conversation. The When We All Vote campaign will officially kick off September 22 to September 29th.
