Humanitarian and multi-talented entertainer, Kore Stacks has been in the entertainment industry as a musician (Rapper), actor, and model for five years

Can you tell us, who is Kore Stacks?

A rapper, actor, model from Washington, DC. born by the name Cortez Woods.

Did you always have the desire to be in the entertainment industry growing up?

Yes, growing up I would always tell my family and friends “one day I’m going to be a star” and everyone would laugh and brush me off. My grandmother Sallie Woods was the only one I didn’t have to prove anything to, she saw my same vision.

I knew if I was going to take music seriously, I had to start from my hometown and that’s what I did. I would save up studio time money and record music, shoot videos, perform at open mics, and do local interviews.

One day I saw a bigger vision for me and that was taking my talents to Atlanta and I never looked back.

Can you tell us more about how you got started?

I came from DC and it wasn’t easy trying to make it out of the hood especially when everyone did what you do or trying to do on top of that trying to survive as a black man, so I dedicated my life to “Ambition of a Hustler”.

What motivated you to name your EP, “Rebirth 1231” which was dedicated to your late Grandmother?

“Rebirth Sallie 1231” is a dedication to my grandmother. Her birthday is 12/31 and I just remember her always encouraging me. She was incredibly supportive and loving. I know she would be immensely proud of me if she was still living. She believed in me from day 1.

What can everyone expect to receive from your EP?

Expect my life in song, this EP will have a total of 5 songs and each song represents my lifestyle today. You will hear growth for sure from the last two albums I dropped. It feels like a “come back “and I have a lot to prove again.

When are you expecting your EP to be released?

“Rebirth Sallie 1231” will be out in June 2021.

Do you have any events or appearances scheduled that you are able to share with us?

Follow me on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, and there will be appearances, booking info on there.

Can you tell us more about your upcoming film Envy, which is due to be released on April 17, 2021, and your role as Hosea Chanchez Fly Home Boy / Wing Man?

Just expect my role in the movie to be a protective friend to Hosea Chanchez in this film. That’s all I can say until after the premiere.

Is there anything additional you would like to share?

I would like to say thank you to Sheen Magazine for taking the time to publish me. Also, I’m very appreciative to everyone whose been supporting me through this journey like JayProductions Agency, Tammy Reese, and my supporters. Thank you!
