It was indeed a fun and memorable day for hospice patients as they spent an afternoon at the movies to see Marvel’s hit film, Black Panther.
Last week, hip-hop legend, Big Boi treated the patients of Loving Arms Hospice in DeKalb County and their families to a showing of Black Panther.
Big Boi and his company, Celebrity Trailers bought out Stonecrest Theaters specifically for these patients.
Co-owner of Celebrity Trailers, Janice Ahmed shared that this was important for the duo because they both have members of their family in hospice.
In a statement to FOX 5, Ahmed stated, “It touches his heart because his family are on hospice as well,” she said. “And he wanted to get his family out to go ahead and still enjoy life.”
Everything was covered for the hospice patients, including transportation, tickets, and snacks.
