Let’s talk hairspray.
It’s just one of those things where I hardly ever stray away from my tried and true fav’s, because 1). I am frugal and hate wasting money on disappointing products 2). A lot can go wrong in the world of hair.
I know I am not the only one out there plagued by the paralyzing fear of crunchy curls from hairspray that’s a little too strong. *insert visions of the 60’s pin-up girls. And if that doesn’t already make my drugstore haircare experience intimidating enough, I also have to be wary of sprays that have literally no hold. You know the kind that are all fun and dandy until you walk outside of the bathroom and your up-do becomes an up-don’t.
So what is it that makes this hairspray different then the rest of the beautifully packaged hairsprays on the shelf? Well for starters, the actual design of the bottle is different than the others. The longer leaner can is ideal for travel and much easier to grip than your traditional spray, typically housed in a bulky can made for people with large palms and lengthy fingers. But it doesn’t stop there, the tri-actuator, aka 3 nozzles of optimal spray, protects you from being blasted with lots of product, and instead lightly dusts your hair with a fine mist. Bye bye sticky hair and crunchy curls.
Now let’s not forget another issue…hairspray with chemical-ly scents. I don’t care what you say, there is nothing cute about a scalp covered with too much of that stale scent. So when I gave this hairspray its first test drive, I was thrilled that my nostrils were greeted with a light neutral cloud of aromas. It wasn’t overwhelming and faded throughout the day, which meant the perfume I paid entirely too much for is still shining through.
For a woman with medium length, full-hair, this product has been a great way to add a little volume to my natural hair and hold all my go-to looks. I give my hair a little flip upside down, spritz it with this goodness and violá! Ready to go with beachy, touseled, sexy hair.
