Regina King is continuing to expand her resume with fantastic work, and we are here for it.

It was recently announced that King is producing and starring Shirley, a biopic about politician and educator Shirley Chisholm. Chisholm was the first Black congresswoman and the first Black person to run for president.

King is set to play the trailblazer in the upcoming film.
