In 2015, the world was introduced to Creed. This action-packed film followed the son of Apollo Creed, Adonis Johnson as he finds his own way in boxing with the help of a very familiar face, Rocky Balboa. As one of the hits of the year, Creed sold out box offices everywhere!
Just yesterday, it was announced that MGM and Warner Bros. will collaborate to bring us Creed 2!
This time, Sylvester Stallone will not direct the movie. Filmmaker, Steven Caple Jr. will direct the Creed sequel which will star Stallone and Michael B. Jordan.

The character of Adonis Creed reflects this generation, and I believe it is important to have a director who is part of it , that is why I think we are Lucky to have Stephen Caple ,Jr A wonderful new talent take over The directorial chores and make the story as relatable as possible… He and Michael B Jordan will deliver a knockout!u
The movie became a hit at the box office with a performance of $173 million worldwide! Stallone was even nominated for the Academy Award for Best Support Actor AND won the Golden Globe Award for the same category.
