Jacob Latimore Jr. is an American singer, rapper and actor. In 2016, Latimore released his debut album Connection. As an actor, he is best known for his roles in Black Nativity, The Maze Runner, Collateral Beauty, The Chi, and Detroit.
Latimore and I discussed the struggles of trying to balance an acting career and music. He expressed that being a young African American actor there is more scrutiny and you have to protect your brand more. Versus being an artist you can party and live life more. It’s definitely about having a balance between the two.
