Shonda Rhimes continue to make history! Rhimes has just become one of the three black women to be inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame this past Thursday. The two women before Rhimes was Oprah Winfrey in 1993 and actress/singer Diahann Carroll in 2011.

Shonda is the mastermind of television hits such as Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, How to Get Away With Murder, and many more productions the world just can’t get enough of. Her infamous production company, Shondaland has kept on us the edge of our seats as we follow each electrifying episode.

A ceremony will take place November 15th in North Hollywood, California to celebrate the achievements of Rhimes along with many other innovators that have made an impact in culture through television.
