Impacting the lives of young people is one of the first steps in creating a better and brighter future. A new organization, the Believe in Yourself Project has emerged to help create a positive body image for young women. The founder, Sam Sisakhti has taken great strides to help improve and promote positive body image by creating a fashion site, USTrendy.
In the past year, the organization has been able to donate formal dresses to underprivileged girls in high school and college students across the country. The Believe in Yourself Project has curated programs for young women to have the opportunity to hear from influential women that have struggled with body image.
Through his observation Sam says, “The aim is to help women feel better about themselves and their physical attributes and to promote healthy self esteem among young girls at an early age, empowering these young women to take on active social roles within their school communities.”
As he strives daily to empower young women, Sam says, “Ultimately, the Believe in Yourself Project seeks to make people feel comfortable in their own skin and not let physical or financial insecurities or limitations affect their confidence.”
