Yesterday, the Couture Power Conference stopped in Greenville, SC for a day of empowerment in business, marketing and social media. The creator of the conference and CEO of the Couture Group, Ashley Hunter, made a huge splash as she received a warm reception back in her hometown after moving to San Francisco. The panel featured local businessmen and women from the upstate (Greenville and surrounding areas) such as the VP Diversity and Inclusion for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce Nika White, the first woman president of the Urban League’s Upstate Jil Littlejohn, fashion blogger and boutique owner Jenny Hall as well as Eat, Play, Work founder Davon Bailey who drove from Charlotte, NC. With the help of moderator Eryn Rodgers, the panel gave a huge insight on entrepreneurship while each person detailed their personal challenges and successes.
The event also featured beauty blogger Adrianna Thomas, and the honorable Jasmine Twitty whom was presented an award for becoming the youngest judge in South Carolina. The keynote speaker was Toya Wright as she filled the room with her down to earth spirit and inspirational words about overcoming hardships and learning to create her own brand and build multiple businesses.
