RonReaco Lee’s 20-year career is rooted in integrity, gratitude, and family.
At only 42, RonReaco Lee has been working in Hollywood for over 20 years. Along with his role on Sister, Sister, Lee has built quite an impressive resume, starring in hit television shows like Survivor’s Remorse and Tyler Perry’s Madea Goes to Jail. As he gears up for his latest role in the BET + series, First Wives Club, RonReaco took some time to talk to us about his new show, gratitude, and the secret to his success.
You’ve been in the acting game for over 20 years. What do you credit with your success and longevity?
Definitely patience. Knowing when to put your head down and grind. Faith. A strong support system. I’ve been married since 2010, and we have two children. If that doesn’t motivate you, I don’t know what will. It was actually a lot harder when I was doing it alone, coming home to an empty apartment or just my homeboy. Having children and being a family man definitely demands focus, but part of my longevity is being aware of when to decompress, and when to go [back] at it when I’m ready.
