Taking her life back has allowed her the motivation to help others in their journey to a healthier way of living. Dominique Daniels, also known as the Glute Goddess, has released a full-body workout, for both the inside and out. Taking your life back into your hands, your way!
Can you tell us more about Dominique Daniels?
I’m a Plant-Based Trainer. For all the women out there wondering, you can get curves and only eat plants. As you can see, I’m extremely passionate about empowering other women to transition to a healthy lifestyle (laughs). I’m really big on encouraging women to be their authentic selves and loving themselves through each phase of the journey.
What motivated you to change your lifestyle?
In 2013, I found out I had an ovarian cyst. I was in pain every day. At the time, my aunt was seeing a Naturopathic Doctor in Philly. I called my aunt and we drove to see the doctor. After only a few minutes, she told me that I needed to lose weight and stop eating dairy immediately. She said the dairy was making the ovarian cyst grow. At that moment, I knew I needed to change my lifestyle. I went on a 30-day cleanse. After completing the cleanse, I lost 30 pounds & I haven’t looked back since.
What were your most trying trials or obstacles during your transition?
Wanting to see results right away was a big obstacle for me. I use to weigh myself every day after going to the gym and look at myself in the mirror wanting to see immediate change. Once I started to trust the process, I started to see results.
When did you know that you wanted to help other women to live a healthy and fit lifestyle?
In 2016, I was given the vision to create a fitness program for women. I thought to myself, why do people lose weight and gain it right back. I realized that it has everything to do with their mindset. At that moment, I knew I could help other women get long-term results by giving them the tools needed to master their mindset. Since then, I’ve been on a mission to deliver a fitness program to women that encompasses the mind and body.
Can you tell us more about the Glute Goddess?
Glute Goddess is really the only fitness program you will ever need! The program is 90-days designed for women who are ready to master their mindset, change their relationship with food, and sculpt the body of their dreams.
I made sure I included everything in this program to ensure my clients lose weight and actually keep it off. Before my clients start the program, you will participate in a breakthrough experience that will help you connect with your WHY and prepare for the weeks ahead.
Once you complete the breakthrough, the real work begins. You will receive customized workouts based on your experience level. You will be challenged throughout the process. Believe me, it will be worth it!
What was the most difficult part of changing your diet and how did you go about the transition successfully?
The hardest part was the cravings. I used to get crazy cravings for French Fries and anything with dairy in it (laughs). After doing some research, I went on a 30-day cleanse and the cravings literally disappeared. At first, it was really hard. I would get tempted to give up. Every time, I remembered the pain I experienced from the ovarian cyst, it gave me the strength to keep going. Now, my discipline is out of this world.
What would you like people to gain from your story and lifestyle change and company?
I want people to hear my story and know that they have the power to heal themselves. We have so much power and once you master your mindset anything is possible.
What’s next for Dominique Daniels “Glute Goddess”?
There are so many things on the horizon for Glute Goddess. I am definitely releasing a new fitness program really soon. It’s important to me that I offer a variety of programs that focus on helping women that have little to no fitness experience. I have something special coming real soon.
Oh yes, I’m releasing a resistance band called the Glute Circle. The resistance band comes with a 4-week Glute Activation Guide. Look for this to come out the last week of August 2019.
