Vina Love Creates Soulful Vibes for Millennials
Emerging songstress Vina Love is giving us all types of 90’s R&B vibes with her new sound. Love is the daughter of legendary Kid Capri and can be seen on We TV’s Growing Up Hip Hop New York. At the tender age of two, Love connected with music through dance. She later became passionate about singing and acting in high school. “Music has always been in my blood.” Vina Love is a Jill of all trades when it comes to her music. Love writes, directs, and assists with editing her content. “As an artist, its important for you to learn different aspects of the industry to help you become mature and make better decisions,” says Love.
Vina Love is an out of the box artist that can’t be placed in a specific category. Her genre of resonates with the soul of the sixties and laid-back style of 90’s. Love released her debut single Air in 2017 which was later remixed with Snoop Dogg. The project was a family affair from her mother as creative director, cousins as dancers and sister as costume designer. Love grew up always surrounded by family. She gives fans a glimpse into her life of WE TV’s Growing Up Hip Hop New York. Loves takes fans along with her as she experiences the journey of being an independent artist. “GUHH was really good training for my career, I’m not opposed to doing another season if I have space and time” says Love.
Love is busy these days promoting her new single “Drip” that’s available on all streaming platforms. “The best advice I received from my dad was to be myself. Your job is to make people happy,” Love explained. She extends that same advice to upcoming artists in the industry. Love encourages other artists to believe in themselves and create their own future. The new Princess of Soul aspires to work with Grammy Award-winning producer Pharrell soon. “I would love to sit in the studio and listen what he has to say.” Vina Love continues to follow in her father’s footsteps while creating a lane of her own.
