The Paley Center for Media hosted its Hollywood Tribute to African-American Achievements in Television in Beverly Hills, California on Monday, October 26, 2015. The Paley Center for Media, with locations in New York and Los Angeles, showcases the importance of media in today’s society.

The awards show highlighted the accomplishments of African Americans across all major genres of TV and BET’S 35th anniversary. The Paley Center for Media also celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act and TV’s role in addressing civil rights and social issues.
The show presented by JPMorgan Chase & Co. at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel included big names in attendance and presenters such as Anthony Anderson, Ava DuVernay, Brandy Norwood, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and many other celebrities.
