She is the true definition of someone who secures the bag! Ashley Ann is no stranger to hard work! Ann is a modern businesswoman, entrepreneur, and host of #LateNightBusiness with an outstanding talent for social media, live streaming, lead generation, content creation, funnels, conversion, and return paths. She is equipped with a BA. in finance and an M.B.A. Ashley has helped over 5,000 individuals monetize their social media. In addition to that, she has assisted over 450 individuals and small business owners create six and seven figure incomes through strategy, digital marketing, and branding. We got a chance to chop it up with her and ask a few questions.
Why are you so passionate about helping others?
When you help others you expand yourself. It gives you a direct opportunity to walk in your purpose, create great energy, and gain a feeling of fulfillment. I love reaching goals and manifesting things. Any time I can meet a goal or help someone bring a goal into reality, I’m excited.
Tell us about your businesses?
I have a lot of hustles but the two businesses that I dedicate the majority of my time and energy to are Ashley Ann Speaks and Events by Ashley Ann. They both allow me to participate in manifestation on a constant basis.
When it comes to Ashley Ann Speaks, I really enjoy helping clients organize their thoughts, build strategies, and systems. It is exciting to watch people accomplish things they never thought they could achieve, or assist a client in realizing something they have been attempting for years.
With the consulting business, I do a lot of ads training, funnel construction, consulting on product creation, helping clients define audiences, teaching content curation, systems, self-investment, sales training, scaling, expedited social media growth, ads management, and helping my clients gain confidence.
Tell us about your coaching practice?
I prefer to refer to myself as a business builder. I’m more results-oriented and I like to focus on the end goals. I give very tactical steps and strategies for each client on an individual basis. I look at their actual lifestyle, how much time they have, their goals, what skills the possess at the moment, and products or services they already have. I’m also looking to see what they have tried in their past and what current efforts they are making in order to bring their goals into a reality. After I do a proper assessment, I put together a plan for that client and their business.
What is the greatest lesson that you have learned in business?
Trust my instincts. God gave them to me for a reason. Anytime I have gone against them I have paid very expensive prices. So now I trust my instincts and focus on what I want to create. I don’t spend too much time anymore fighting again things or people.
What advice would you give to that person who’s business is no doing so great and wants to give up?
Stay encouraged. Anything worth having is going to take some effort. Look at what is not working and lets search for the spots of success, It doesn’t matter how tiny they are, you can magnify them, and create more favorable results. It also may help to talk to other people who are doing great in their businesses. They don’t have to be in the same industry for you to learn from them.
What does it take to have a successful business?
Endurance, consistency, flexible systems, learning your target audience and having a desire to serve them. You need to show up every day and learn the power of compounded results. I think people sometimes get caught up looking for a big win, and a lot of time big wins are a series of small triumphs that happen day to day. You have to learn to be repetitive because your business is always growing, and finally be where your customers are. If you learn to target you will grow much faster than you ever anticipated.
