EXCLUSIVE: Taraji P Henson is making headlines again after Paramount Players announced the remake of the hit romantic comedy released in 2000 What Women Want this time with a little gender twist, What Men Want.

Nancy Meyers directed the original film where Mel Gibson starred as the main character. A man from New York City who, after an eye opening accident he gained the ability to read women minds which he used to help him both personally and professionally. The new version follows Taraji P. Henson, who will play the role of a sports agent who’s able to read the minds of her male co-workers as they attempt to drive her out of the boardroom. With this ability her plan is to secure a deal with a high profile NBA player for the agency.

Henson has already landed the role as executive producer for the film along with having Girls Trip producers Will Packer and James Lopez as well. The only bad news is, we have to wait a year before What Men Want hit theaters on Jan. 11, 2019.  We’re sure it will be worth the yearlong wait.

Congrats Taraji P. Henson!
