The ’90s are back! This just in that the hit series, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air will be rebooted.

Smith’s Westbrook Studios and Universal TV are planning to produce a new version of the hit series.

Back in 2019, a trailer created by Morgan Cooper was released that went viral. It reimagined the show to a drama titled Bel-Air which focuses on the realities of a teenager from West Philly being sent to live with his uncle in Bel-Air. Check it out below!

Cooper will be co-creating the show with showrunner and executive producer, Chris Collins.

Deadline has reported that the show Bel-Air will dive deeper into the original sitcom based on today’s reality. At this time, the show is not attached to a network.

Deadline also revealed that it is being shopped around to streamers that may be interested in picking it up.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is currently avaliable to stream on HBO Max.
