Last week, Sheen Magazine had the exclusive pleasure, along with Streetz94.5 in Atlanta, to witness and experience the live recording of a NEW hit-record laid and mastered at Ian Burke’s Icon Studios. The song is set for the Spring and Summer, to release right before the 2022 Grammys, followed by an official video which we have been briefed, will be “a whole entire movie”.

The record is entitled “Only If” by R&B artist, actress and influencer Alexis Branch, featuring iconic URL battle rapper and Wild’n Out MC, Hitman Holla. — The song is expected to be a huge success, as it boasts a ride-or-die, Bonnie & Clyde kind of vibe.

We enjoyed the studio energy, including the love and support from Hitman’s wife, Cinnamon.

The real musical craft and creative industries had a baby with this one, as this project is expected to be nothing less than captivating, classic yet trendy, intense, relatable and very entertaining. Alexis Branch has had great success recently, with her 2022 Grammy considering single, “Ooo Baby”, featuring classic Tyrese sample, “Sweet Lady”. The single was released in the fall of 2021 and had skyrocketed in streams, downloads and fan-feedback.

We’re excited for the new and upcoming project with Hitman Holla, who expressed how happy he is to have this record finished! — The two artists exchanged laughs and high-fives over the fact that this has been a 4 year journey in creating this track; from planning and writing to recording and producing the video.

The video is said to include some intense scenes of kidnapping and action, showcasing the versatility of both multi-talented artists.

There’s more coming from Alexis Branch as well this year! — She shared with us that she also has plans to speak out through her music and upcoming projects, on some of the events and emotions that took place during and after her most recently ended relationship.

We are so here for the growth and the healing! We’ve loved everything Alexis Branch has been doing with her brand and her music, and we are looking forward to “Only If” this Spring/Summer and all that she has to come!
