Today, rising R&B/Soul singer Joe Leone unveils his first single of 2025 entitled “Discipline,” out now via JBR Creative Group. It notably arrives in the midst of ‘The October Nights: Calling All Lovers’ tour, where Joe plays as an opener alongside GRAMMY®-nominated singer-songwriters October London, Tamar Braxton, and Ro James. 

“Discipline,” which was written in collaboration with Felly The Voice (Usher, Chris Brown, 112), is a journey in restraint and self-control (or lack thereof). Over a stripped-back instrumental produced by DJ Camper (Brandy, H.E.R., Coco Jones), Joe’s honeyed vocal runs and sensual spoken word verses come together seamlessly as he deconstructs an inability to control his emotions. When it comes to matters of the heart, the singer-songwriter suspends logic and channels a happy-go-lucky mindset. 

Speaking about the single Joe shares: “Every now and then we find ourselves in a sticky situation when it comes to love. Love can be so wrong for all kinds of reasons, but that doesn’t stop it from feeling so right.” 

The accompanying video provides viewers with a snapshot of Joe on the job, doing everything but work. Instead of focusing on the task at hand, he’s smitten with his workplace sweetheart – who just so happens to also be his boss. Watch HERE. 

“Discipline” reintroduces a promising new voice in R&B. It’s a song that deepens and enhances the allure of Joe’s music, building on the success of last year’s double single, “Over Under / Save Face,” which graced editorial playlists across Apple Music, Spotify, TIDAL and Pandora. 

Following an impressive run of performances on the first leg of ‘The October Nights: Calling All Lovers’ tour, Joe parlayed this momentum into a romantic number that’s bound to become your next obsession. His artistic evolution continues with the release of “Discipline,” adding yet another melodic earworm to the singer-songwriter’s growing discography.
