This weekend, Atlanta theatergoers are in for a treat as Je’Caryous Johnson’s captivating stage play, Games Women Play, takes center stage at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre on Saturday, May 17, 2025. With showtimes at 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM, audiences will be immersed in a rollercoaster of love, ambition, and the intricate dynamics of modern relationships. 

Directed by Carl Payne in his theatrical directorial debut, Games Women Play boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including Jill Marie Jones (Girlfriends), Claudia Jordan (The Real Housewives of Atlanta), Carl Payne (Martin, House of Payne), Flex Alexander (One on One), Demetria McKinney (House of Payne), Chico Bean (Wild ‘N Out), and Brian J. White (Stomp the Yard). 

The narrative centers around Caleb Peterson (Carl Payne), a successful financial advisor, and his fiancée, Paisley Terrell (Jill Marie Jones). Their seemingly perfect relationship takes a dramatic turn when Caleb proposes on a live podcast and introduces a prenuptial agreement, leading to a series of emotional and comedic events that explore trust, love, and ambition. 

In an exclusive interview with Sheen Magazine, Jill Marie Jones and Claudia Jordan shared their experiences touring with the cast and diving into the complexities of their characters. Jones expressed her excitement about portraying Paisley, stating, “It’s a role that challenges me to explore the depths of love and self-worth.” Jordan, who plays a pivotal role in the proposal on her messy talkshow, discusses how fun the experience of touring with this cast has been. Both Jones and Jordan discussed how funny “Chico Bean” is on tour and that he’s the breakout performer on the cast even though this is his first stage play.
