Gemini Season is from May 21st to June 20th, and Rapper Jadakiss celebrated the season and his 50th birthday on May 27th in a week-long celebration marking this milestone in the rapper’s life. The rapper had not one, but three birthday parties in one week.

The first sold-out party was held at Salsa Con Fuego in the Bronx on 2297 Cedar Avenue on Sunday, May 25th. He celebrated his birthday, by taking the stage and performing his hits, “New York”, “We Going Make It”, and “Knock Yourself Out”, and had the Knicks playoffs streaming on a jumbo screen behind him.

The second birthday party was held at Brooklyn Chop House Times Square located at 253 West 47th Street on Friday, May 30th. DJ Mike Neezy kept the party vibe high. At 1:42 AM, he arrived at BCH decked head to toe all white Louis Vuitton, and gathered with family, friends, and other members of the hip-hop community. “It’s Gemini season, baby! And shout out to all the Taurus!” said Jadakiss “Shout out to everyone celebrating their birthday and to all the Geminis!” he said

He took the stage and performed his past hits like “U Make Me Wanna”. The first surprise guest to join Jadakiss on stage was new rapper Scarlip, who was wearing a black and blue motorcycle jacket. The second guest that made the audience go wild was a special appearance by Grammy-Award Winning R&B Artist, Mary J.Blidge, and made the crowd go wild. “You see how she’s sounding! See what she’s doing! MJ, I love you, baby!” said Jadakiss.

She briefly appeared and wished Jadakiss “Happy Birthday” and was excited to enter V.I.P. Other guests from the Hip-Hop community were Rapper Jim Jones, Radio Personality Maino, DJ Clue, DJ Smooth Ski, DJ SNS, Ruff Ryders Co-Founder Darrin “Dee” Dean, Two-Time Heavyweight Champion Boxer Shannon Briggs and the owner of Brooklyn Chop House Robert “Don Pooh” Cummins. He was surprised with a birthday cake with sparkler candles lit for a king. The audience sang Happy Birthday to the rapper

The 3rd birthday private black-tie birthday party was on Monday, June 5th. The rapper was dressed in black-tie attire and was presented with two birthday cakes. One cake was a money photo cake with his picture on it, and a second cake with 50 candles. There was an appearance of legendary rapper Big Daddy Kane. Jadakiss said that Kane was his idol growing up. According to the Joe and Jada Instagram, at Jadakiss’s 3rd party, he said, “Kane did a lot for me and raised me and what he did for the culture. He’s way different.” he said.

The Yonkers-born rapper has many things to look forward to after celebrating his birthday. He has several appearances coming up. On Friday, June 13th, he reunited with The LOX in Poughkeepsie, NY, and the MJN Center. On June 20th, he appeared on stage for Hot 97 Summer Jam in Newark, New Jersey. On June 21st, he was in Harrison, Pennsylvania at the Hip-Hop and Harmony concert with DJ Boc HMAC Center. He will also be on his podcast, Joe and Jada, with Bronx Rapper Fat Joe, which is now at 114,000 listeners.

Jadakiss reflected on his birthday on June 12th on his Joe and Jada Podcast saying“ I made it to 50, shout out to all my family, friends, and loved ones.”
