Vincent Faith was born from one mother’s journey through the NICU, transforming personal struggle into a purpose-driven brand that supports families when they need it most. Founded by Akivia after her own experience with her twin daughters, the brand creates thoughtfully designed, size-inclusive clothing that prioritizes medical access, comfort, and the emotional realities of NICU life. Each piece honors the challenges and milestones of NICU families, offering both practical support and a sense of community. Meet Akivia, the founder and heart behind Vincent Faith, as she shares her story and mission to make NICU life feel less isolating and a lot more supported.

How is Vincent Faith clothing different from other preemie brands?

Akivia: Our roots are in the NICU with size-inclusive designs, but our mission is to support every stage—from isolette to stroller, from tiny triumphs to toddler steps.

Our clothing is designed specifically for babies from the tiniest micro-preemies through 18 months. We’ve intentionally created garments that blend softness and safety with beauty and practicality. That means wrap-style openings for easy dressing around medical lines, flat seams and tagless labels for delicate skin, and thoughtful fits that support real NICU needs—not just scaled-down versions of full-term babywear.

And we’re proud that all of our current collection is made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton—because your baby deserves the very best from the very beginning.
Vincent Faith stands apart because we’ve lived it—and we’re designing from a place of compassion, experience, and deep respect for the NICU journey and beyond.

How do you hope your products help NICU families?

Akivia: I hope our products wrap both babies and parents in comfort, dignity, and love. For NICU families, even the smallest wins matter—like dressing your baby for the first time or seeing them swaddled peacefully while still connected to monitors. I want Vincent Faith to create those moments: moments of connection, confidence, and care. Our garments are designed to make medical care easier without sacrificing beauty or softness. And emotionally, I want parents to feel seen—because this journey is hard, but they’re not alone.

What’s your vision for the future of Vincent Faith?

Akivia: My vision is to redefine what baby wear means for the most vulnerable babies and the strong families behind them.

That means continuing to grow our NICU-to-home line with functional, soft, and inclusive designs that serve babies from birth through toddlerhood. It also means expanding our hospital partnerships, collaborating with NICU teams, and creating more education and support resources for families.
Vincent Faith will always stay rooted in heart and purpose—but I’m dreaming big, because our babies deserve that.

What was the biggest lesson you learned from your NICU experience?

Akivia: Miracles often arrive in the quietest, hardest moments.

The NICU taught me strength, patience, and perspective. I learned to celebrate the smallest victories—a steady heartbeat, a half ounce of weight gain, a day without desaturations. I also learned that love is an action, shown in the way you advocate, stay present, and keep showing up even when it’s hard.
It completely reshaped how I mother, how I lead, and how I create.

What advice would you give to parents with babies currently in the NICU?

Akivia: Take a deep breath. You’re doing better than you think.
Let yourself grieve the birth story you expected and hoped for but didn’t receive. But also look for the beauty—because there is beauty in the strength of your baby, in the care of the nurses, in the community you didn’t choose but now belong to.
Celebrate every milestone. Trust your instincts. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and permit yourself time to rest. You are still your baby’s whole world, even in the NICU.

Are there any new products or plans coming soon?

Akivia: Yes! While we already offer inclusive sizing from micro-preemie up to 18 months, we’re expanding our accessory and comfort-focused essentials with more products.

Coming soon:

  • NICU-friendly mittens are designed to help prevent babies from pulling out essential equipment like feeding tubes, CPAPs, and cannulas, potentially reducing the possibility of infections, avoidable discomfort, and the need for repeated x-rays due to tube reinsertion.
  • New crossbody designs that will continue to empower families to feel comfortable dressing their babies without disturbing essential medical equipment such as CPAPS, PICC Lines, Cannulas, etc.
  • A swaddle and sleep bag made with our new lux fabric option, offering a higher level of softness and stretch while still maintaining safety and comfort.

What has been the most rewarding part of your journey so far?

Akivia: The stories from other NICU parents. When someone messages me to say, “Your clothing is what I needed when my child was in the NICU and I couldn’t find any clothes small enough,” or “This was the first outfit I felt safe dressing my baby in,” I’m reminded why I started this.
It’s not just about fabric or fit—it’s about honoring each baby’s journey and giving families back a little piece of what the NICU often takes away: choice, connection, and joy. Those moments keep me going.
