In the tranquil and zen pop-up at the OASES Spa and café, bareMinerals held their one-day immersive pop-up in Union Square, New York, on August 6th to celebrate the brand’s 30th birthday since entering the beauty world in 1995.
To commemorate this milestone birthday, the brand partner up with the OASES multi sensory spa space and restaurant and spa to test out their three new products in person in an exclusive gift bundle. bareMinerals unveiled new products that reflect its heritage of purity, performance, and quality.
The three new products are the new Original Pressed Powder Foundation with its new expanded 40 shades in a convenient compact. The pressed format is infused with SPF 15 and free of synthetic fragrances, talc, and parabens, and reduces redness and improves skin texture as little as seven days. The second product is the return of the Prime Time Original Foundation Primer. This fan-favorite product is back in a new Clean formula with Vitamin C and E Complex, mineral-rich sea water, and linear silicone complex for a mattifying base with a gel-based formula. The third product is the Skinlongevity Collection with the Skinlongevity Cushion Cloud Cleanser, Skinlongevity Butter Drench Cream, and the Skinlongevity Revitalizing Eye Cream.
The pop-up opened at 8 AM, and the first 250 customers received a gift bag with a beige bareMinerals sweatshirt, a travel-size bareMinerals primer, and a free Beauty Boost smoothie made by the OASES restaurant at the event. “All the samples went very fast!” said Emma Koch, Senior Account Supervisor at Lippe Taylor Group.” We have a custom collab with OASES for August, and now the Beauty Boost Smoothie will appear on their menu,” said Koch. “The pop-up was great this morning, and all the samples went very fast in about an hour and a half,” she said.
Customers got to sit down with a bareMinerals make-up artist and got a free make-up session, trying out the new relaunch and clean formulas of the brand’s most popular products. The peaceful and serene event, in all-white, covered with white peonies and gemstone crystals from Astro Gallery of Gems and white candles, gave customers a kickstart to their mornings, giving them a high-class spa experience for the full-on wellness event.
Customers were able to purchase products at the pop-up or online. The brand also launched a “Bare Encounters” social campaign that brought out beloved make-up content creators
Patricia Bright (IG @patriciabright), Aditya Madiraju (IG@adityamadiraju), Manny Gutierrez (IG@mannymua733), and Stephanie Valentine (IG@glamzilla). Each creator shared a fun, unscripted meeting that nods to their shared love of Bare Minerals. These moments spoke about the OG products, such as the Original Loose Mineral Foundation and the new Original Pressed Powder Foundation with SPF 15.
To purchase the new clean launches for bare Minerals can be purchase on the bareMinerals website and major retailers like Sephora, Macy’s, Ulta Beauty, and Nordstrom. “bareMinerals was founded on the belief that makeup can be good for your skin – through the power of minerals and minimal, clean ingredients – and that philosophy remains unchanged,” said Celia Tombalakian, Global Vice President and Head of Brand of bareMinerals. “As we celebrate 30 years, we’re reflecting on what has made this brand resonate so deeply with women for three decades: the trust we’ve built through formulas that deliver both instant and long-term results, and the authenticity that has always set us apart. Now, we’re focused on bringing that legacy to the next level – continuing to evolve with purpose, innovation, and skin-loving performance at our core.”
