The desire to reach more people with the message of love, connection, and intimacy is what inspired Tana Gilmore to do all things. Tana Gilmore states, “I knew early on that I wanted to make an impact beyond one-on-one coaching and matchmaking sessions, and I wanted to create a bigger platform where I could educate, empower, and inspire. Television gave me that opportunity to not only share my expertise but also to represent women who wear many hats and still thrive in their purpose. So when the producers contacted me/our firm. I knew the time was now!”

Was it challenging? Absolutely. The entertainment world comes with long hours, unpredictability, and the pressure of being in front of millions, along with the ability to be flexible.
But I welcomed that challenge because I believe growth doesn’t happen in a comfort zone.

Ms. Gilmore shares that Television gave her that opportunity to not only share her expertise but also to represent women who wear many hats and still thrive in their purpose. When the producers reached out to her and her camp, she knew that it was time. During her career, Ms. Gilmore realized her “Wow” moment came when she looked around and realized that the vision She once wrote down on her vision board had come to fruition.

From having her own show (ensemble cast) on Bravo (Love Match Atlanta) and a guest on Married to Medicine along with being a subject matter expert on the Tamron Hall show, to becoming a recurring expert on national platforms such as the Rickey Smiley Morning Show, she knew she had stepped fully into the space she once dreamed about. It wasn’t just about the spotlight; it was about seeing the lives impacted by her work in relationships, intimacy, and love. Reflecting on her career with gratitude, Ms. Gilmore shares that she took time to pause, reflect, and thank God for opening those doors and then let out tears of joy. She shares that she also celebrated with her loved ones who have been in her corner since day one.

Ms. Gilmore shares that she became a relationship, sex, and intimacy coach because she’s always believed that love and connection are at the core of our human experience. Early in her career, she saw so many struggling couples who loved each other but couldn’t quite figure out how to reconnect, singles who were successful in every area of life except love, and individuals who carried shame or fear around intimacy. She knew she could help bridge that gap.

The actress admits that hearing good feedback from her clients is one of the most rewarding parts of what she does. Every testimonial, every engagement, wedding ceremony she’s invited to, or baby announcement, every message of gratitude, reminds her why she chose this path in the first place. She acknowledges that it’s an incredible feeling to know that something she shared, whether her tips or tools, a perspective, or a conversation, helped someone transform their love life, reignite intimacy, or rebuild their confidence.

It makes her feel humbled and honored because love and vulnerability are such sacred spaces. When clients trust her enough to let her guide them, and then come back to say, ‘You changed my life’ or ‘You saved my marriage,’ it fills her with joy and reaffirms that this work is truly her calling.
In her spare time, the actress shares she’s a bit of an adventurer at heart. She absolutely loves traveling internationally, exploring new places, and soaking up different cultures. Lately, she shares she’s fallen in love with the world of acting and producing, which has opened a whole new creative side of her.

Ms. Gilmore is now a Certified Intimacy Coordinator, which means she gets to write and choreograph those spicy on-screen scenes many of us love, making sure everything looks real while keeping it safe and consensual for the actors. Travel keeps her inspired, acting and producing allow her to create, and intimacy coordination allows her to blend her expertise with her passion for storytelling, creating a perfect balance.

Ms. Gilmore excitedly shares that she just wrapped a feature film about a month ago, where she had the opportunity to both help produce and step in front of the camera as a news reporter. And coming up, she’s especially thrilled about her new television series entitled Praying Hands That Prey. In this project, she’s not only one of the Executive Producers, but she also plays the role of a Pastor’s Mistress. It’s a powerful, dramatic story that digs deep into faith, desire, and deception, and she can’t wait for audiences to see it.

These projects really showcase the expansion of her career into film and television, and she’s loving every minute of bringing bold, impactful stories to life both on screen and behind the scenes.
