The Caribbean Music Awards celebrate the very things that connect the diaspora, with music at the heart of it all. From reggae and dancehall to Soca, Kompa, and more, the show is a reminder that while each island carries its own identity, the rhythm of the Caribbean beats as one.
This year’s Caribbean Music Awards will be hosted by Majah Hype, better known as the King of Caribbean Comedy. The night will draw a mix of stars from both the Caribbean and the United States, with appearances from Swizz Beatz, Serani, DJ Khaled, Mýa, Love Island alum Chelley, comedian Donnell Rawlings, and many more.
In addition to notable celebrity appearances, several music legends will be honored for their lasting contributions. Jamaican dancehall great Bounty Killer will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, while reggae icon Sizzla will be recognized for his philanthropic work through his organization, the Sizzla Youth Foundation, with the Humanitarian Award.
Hip-hop pioneer Busta Rhymes will also take the stage to accept the Elite Icon Award, marking a milestone moment in his career following his recent star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in August and the Bell’s Visionary Award Medley at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards.
The Caribbean Music Awards celebrate the music and stories that give the region a voice, bringing the islands and the diaspora together.
Don’t miss the Caribbean Music Awards this Friday, September 12, at 8 PM ET on BET!
