SHEEN: Tell us more about your podcast, What’s Popping What’s Good?!.

Sadé: What’s Popping, What’s Good (WPWG) is my baby! It’s been such a long journey in the making, but ever since my first group podcast in 2015, I just fell in love with talking on the mic. I truly enjoy being able to relate to other women and having women relate to me. Unfortunately, it did come to an end a year later. It’s been my goal to relaunch it on my
own terms with new intentions, purpose, and inspiration. With that drive, I was able to relaunch and launch my first episode. It feels amazing!

SHEEN: What’s Popping What’s Good?! is a game-changer! From each episode, how do you want to inspire other women to live authentically and move with purpose?

Sadé: I definitely want to inspire women through authentic, real, and relatable conversations with the hopes that they know they are not alone in day-to-day situations. We all go through, no matter our age, social status, lifestyles, or careers. I would love to continue to provide a positive, safe space for women, considering that there is so much negativity going on in the world. This can give them a little bit of positivity, motivation, and uplifting energy to go about their days and to know that they can always expect something good from each episode!

SHEEN: As a WAG (Wives and Girlfriends of athletes), how do you practice self-care while balancing entrepreneurship and mom duties?

Sadé: I love to practice self-care on Sundays, these are my me days! I love to deep condition
my hair, exfoliate my skin and face, and sometimes take a bubble bath. Definitely just
get prepared for the week ahead. Monday is my favorite day of the week, so having my
self-care days on Sunday always leaves me feeling great, fresh, and ready to tackle what Monday and the week have to offer! Also, I love a spa day!!

SHEEN: With a dynamic and on-screen role in Netflix’s W.A.G.s To Riches, what is something that you enjoy doing off-camera that would surprise people?

Sadé: I love a good coffee shop and enjoy trying out new ones! Coffee shops help with getting my creative juices flowing. I can literally sit at a coffee shop for hours and get so much work
done. I’m very productive, and my focus is on a whole different level.

SHEEN: As the CEO and creative force behind the luxury swimwear brand Seven02Swim, tell us more about the inspiration behind each design.

Sadé: The inspiration behind each design was definitely different! I wanted to start with a fun and funky print while designing the first collection, so I envisioned something cute but flashy! For the one-piece, I wanted something women can still feel comfortable and confident, even if they are not fans of bikinis, but have them feel a little sexy with the cutout in the front. As for the next upcoming collection, as a sneak peek, the items are brighter colors. I really want to go for a summer sorbet vibe and a different style. These items will be launching next year!
