Each Track is a Clause. Each Word is Intentional.

In a music landscape saturated with singles, trends, and instant gratification, Edwina Gray is asking listeners to slow down—and read the fine print. Her new conceptual EP, Terms and Conditions, released in July 2025, is a richly layered, four-track exploration of alignment, self-worth, and emotional boundaries. But this isn’t just a collection of songs—it’s a personal contract delivered through sound.

The EP is structured like a legal document for the heart and soul, each song representing a clause: Clarity, Timing, Celebration, and Resolve. The messages are clear, but they run deep, crafted to spark reflection in those who listen with intention. It’s as much about emotional literacy as it is about rhythm and groove.

“It’s not just music. It’s everything I’ve had to configure or reimagine to stay aligned—spiritually, artistically, emotionally,” says Gray, whose voice carries both softness and strength, shaped by both industry smarts and life’s rough drafts.

Where Music Meets Marketing: A Career Built on Message

Edwina’s musical roots trace back to a single moment in childhood, when a substitute teacher paused a classroom sing-along to announce, “Little girl, you can sing.” That affirmation planted a seed that would grow through unexpected paths.

Armed with a PR/Marketing degree and a gift for storytelling, she launched her agency, Lady In The Red Dress, in 2015. RED—short for Realize Every Dream—became more than a brand; it became her creative compass. Her artistry reignited in 2020 during her branding work with vocal coach Dileesa Hunter in Atlanta. She built a fanbase of over 2,000 through the now-defunct Voisey app and dropped her debut project Flashback Forward, catching the attention of industry veteran Melvin Wells of Cameo.

A residency opportunity introduced her to Fort Worth music legend Bobby Dade, setting in motion a series of collaborations and performances that further refined her sound and stage presence.

The Tracklist, Broken Down Like Life Itself:

  • “Straight Line” – The Clarity Clause
  • “Time” – The Timing Clause
  • “Celebration (Reprise)” – The Celebration Clause
  • “Watchin’ Us” – The Resolve Clause

With sounds rooted in R&B and enriched by neo-soul, Southern soul, and traces of pop, Terms and Conditions feels like a heart-to-heart wrapped in harmony. Whether you’re healing, evolving, or drawing boundaries, Gray offers a sonic blueprint for navigating what you allow—and what you don’t.
