DC The Don is the life of the party. The ascendant rap rockstar marks his first independent release of the year with the hypnotic party anthem, “GET NAKED.” Fueled by heavy-hitting bass and unapologetic swagger, the song creates a feeling of instant nostalgia with an interpolation of the iconic “Hollaback Girl” hook.

“GET NAKED” is available now on all digital streaming platforms via LETTER 5 LLC & Create Music Group.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the new single, DC The Don shares: “Summers really here. I been tapped in heavy, city to city, same energy everywhere. Everybody chasing a high, a moment, something real. That’s what ‘Get Naked’ is. I meet all these women — different looks, different stories — but they all move the same. Fast life. No breaks. Just tryna party, get lit, forget everything. And I’m right there with ’em.”

Right out the gate, the Milwaukee firebrand gets straight to the point, owning the spotlight and making it clear who’s calling the shots. “GET NAKED” is full of quotable flexes that speaks to the romantic possibilities of summer nights, which at times are fun but short-lived.

The new single follows March’s “BACK ROAD SWANGIN” and arrives in the wake of the “MELODY OF A MEMORY Tour” with Eem Triplin & 76Tutes. The 28-date run will make landfall in major markets across the country including Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, and more before wrapping in New York June 13.

DC The Don recently previewed “GET NAKED” live during his show last week, building on the momentum he’s already created with the myriad of social media snippets that have surfaced online, accumulating over 10 million impressions on TikTok. The Letter 5 designer had the crowd singing along word-for-word, fueling the hype for the song’s official release. And now, it’s finally here.
