Dynasty is official a New York State legal cannabis dispensary in Harlem located at 2119 Fredrick Douglas Boulevard.  The official opening was celebrated with a legendry opening. On April 18th, co-owners former New York Giants linebacker Jon Beason, Rich Jospitre (Fat Joe’s manager), entrepreneur Anthony Gonzalez and community leader Jahkaya Pugh cut the ribbon on the official opening of the cannabis dispensary servicing the Harlem community.

The block party was a community event with sponsors like Gorilla Lifestyle, who came out with free drinks and live DJ Surge TS and Ted Smooth to celebrate the upcoming 4/20 holiday. The new cannabis dispensary offers new cannabis lines from athletes and artists like NBA Hall of Famer player Carmelo Anthony. Inside Dynasty Commodities was an astonishing experience with wall-to-wall white marble. The dispensary offers fast delivery service to your door with deliveries to your home and self-checkout kiosks that ensure quick services. “The whole goal of the dispensary is to give back to the community,” said Jahkaya Pugh, co-manager and investor of the Dynasty Commodities. “We are also trying to get people licensed in the Harlem community. We are working on creating programs to apply for licenses, and launch as matter black-owned businesses as we can” said Pugh

Pugh is now the youngest African-American and Puerto Rican woman to co-own a licensed retail dispensary in New York.

The black party will continue throughout the weekends to celebrate 4/20 from noon to 9 PM with free drinks and a food truck to celebrate the growth of Black and Brown-owned businesses in Harlem. According to an official statement by Remy Ma with Source magazine, “It’s so important to support our Black and Brown community in the cannabis industry, but it’s more important to support our friends and family starting businesses and ventures.”
