When you ask Galit Ventura-Rozen to describe herself, she starts with the usual—a mother of three, a best friend, sister, daughter, and girlfriend. But when you dig deeper and get to know Galit, you discover her passion and wisdom, her compassionate heart, and her desire to help others. That’s what we discovered during this Sheen Magazine exclusive with Galit, a 25-year entrepreneur and a woman whose made it her mission to empower other women.

 Who is Galit Ventura-Rozen?

I started my first business in commercial real estate over 25 years ago and entered a male-dominated industry. I was incredibly young at the time and learned to pave my path to success on my terms. Four years ago, I decided it was time to share my experience and knowledge with the hopes of teaching women how to be successful doing what they love and how to use their voice to share their stories and journeys. I’ve made it my mission, my purpose. It’s my passion to show as many women as possible that when you believe in yourself, you overcome your biggest obstacle—yourself. Your possibilities are limitless.

What does empowerment mean to you?

Empowerment means sharing your gifts with the world to inspire and show other women how to be successful and live life to the fullest. It means embracing who you are in a way that allows others to learn more about you when you’re vulnerable, genuine, and authentic.

Tell us about your business, its mission, and how it will impact a nation.

My business will impact a nation because it is purpose driven. It exists because I believe that my mission in life is to show as many women as possible that the opportunities are endless when they believe in themselves. I show women how to get out of their own way so that they can have anything they desire and live the life they deserve.

How do you use your expertise to influence others?

I volunteer with younger women in leadership programs and at the local women’s shelter. I also host various speaking engagements and share my passion through helping others wherever I can. I try to set the example of what it looks like to live a grateful, passionate, and happy life.

What are some of your greatest accomplishments?

My three children are my greatest accomplishment. As a mother who started her business before her first child—who is now 24—was born, I made sure to build my business around my life and children. I never missed a Mother’s Day breakfast at school, a performance, sporting event, or anything else. My children always come first. It wasn’t easy but it was worth it.

What advice would you give someone who wants to mirror your success?

Do not let “the how” stop you. The two things that stop women from doing what I do is fear and not knowing how. There are millions of people who know how to do whatever it is that you don’t know how to do. Find them, learn from them, and then do it. Put your fear aside. Each time fear shows up, think about looking back on your life when you’re 80 years old and the regret you’ll have over not doing something. There’s never a perfect time to do anything so just do it now.

What sense of purpose do you draw from your culture and community?

Do everything with kindness. It doesn’t matter if someone is unkind to you. When you know that you deserve to be treated with kindness and you treat others that way, you recognize your value and worth. Kindness will always make the world a better place regardless of age, gender, race, and religion.

How has the pandemic impacted your business?

The pandemic hasn’t impacted my business. I’ve learned in my 25 years in business and surviving the last recession that when the world shifts, you pivot. Not only did the pandemic not affect my sales, I even started another business after realizing that, now more than ever, women need to learn how to attract more clients and be more visible. I started Everyday Woman with my business partner, Angela, and launched the membership website.

Leave us with some encouraging words.

Choose to wake up every day with gratitude. Say thank you for another day on Earth regardless of what your circumstances are. This leads the way for an amazing day and a life filled with everything you deserve and desire.
