KeShaun Harding carries herself with a cool, tempered ease—the kind of calm that makes you exhale just by being around her. But as she’s quick to point out, it wasn’t always this way.Harding, a Nurse Practitioner turned entrepreneur and Mindset Coach, has lived through storms, setbacks, and the relentless pace of burnout. Her demeanor today is the product of years of inner work, healing, and a personal philosophy that she now teaches to women everywhere: success begins in the mind.
That philosophy is the heartbeat of her coaching empire, The K.E.Y Collective. Harding developed her From Crash Out to Cool Out Method™ as both a survival strategy and a success framework. It’s how she guides high-achieving women to regulate their emotions, shift their mindset, and realign with their purpose—without losing themselves in the process.
Harding’s expertise isn’t manufactured; it’s lived. She spent 15 years as a Registered Nurse and five as a Nurse Practitioner before opening Obsidian Aura Med Spa in Tinley Park.”I didn’t walk into entrepreneurship—I ran,” she says with a laugh. “And that’s why I tell women mentors, hip and mindset come first. Otherwise, you’ll burn out before you break through.”
Through her Story That Built Me live event series, Harding invites women to tell the truths:behind their polished exteriors. What started as her own vulnerable moment—sharing traumas she once thought were too heavy to reveal—turned into a movement. The result? Rooms full of women dropping their guard, ready to connect.“We realized we weren’t alone,” Harding explains. “And that kind of sisterhood becomes a mirror for accountability.” The receipts are undeniable. One mentee launched a med spa three months ahead of schedule, expanded into a second location within a year, and finally left her 9-to-5.
Harding recalls the phone call where she heard the words, “I gave notice.” She smiles: “That was her freedom moment, but it reminded me why I do this work.”
Her clients aren’t just getting coaching—they’re gaining clarity. Harding teaches women to embrace therapy, self-care, and the courage to ask for help. She knows firsthand the dangers of the “strong Black woman” archetype, where feelings are sidelined in the name of pushing forward. “We’ve been groomed to be unbreakable,” she says. “But that hamster wheel doesn’t lead anywhere. Real power starts when you pause.”
Beyond coaching, Harding is expanding her impact through corporate trainings, public speaking, and mentorship programs that amplify women’s voices. As she puts it,”Nobody can do what you do, the way you do it. But you have to believe that first.
With poise earned through pain and triumph alike, KeShaun Harding is living proof that alignment is possible. She isn’t just giving women strategies. She’s giving them the keys.
