From its origins in Acapulco to its mastery in Miami, Larenz Tate reflects on how far the American Black Film Festival has come since it began in 1997, as the festival celebrates its 29th year.

In addition to being the official American Black Film Festival ambassadors, Nia Long and Larenz Tate will be conversing and celebrating their iconic and legendary Black Love film during this year’s Remembering Love Jones event. The Screen Actors Guild Award recipient also offers his guidance points for successful and fulfilling navigation of the ABFF.

Larenz shares that the festival is a combination of artists and creators, alongside executives and businesspeople who can create the possibility of opportunity through networking.
