GELO is gearing up to release his debut project titled ‘League Of My Own’ on July 18th… and we’re here for it!

On Tuesday, July 15th, the professional basketball player turned rapper hosted an intimate album listening session at MainRo in the heart of Hollywood, California. Sponsored by Don Julio, the invite-only event offered an open bar, delicious food, a photobooth, and more.

With the success of GELO’s first-ever song, “Tweaker,” it was only right that he followed it up with a project for his fans. The audio version of the song itself has over 17 million views on Youtube and counting, with the official video coming in  at 20 million views.

When it came time for the Q&A, who better to host than his brother Lonzo Ball? Who currently plays for the NBA team Cleveland Cavaliers. With both brothers dripping in swag, Lonzo begins the Q&A immediately, asking how GELO feels about the new project. But GELO had to take a minute to pause and introduce himself, acknowledging everyone in the room who came out to support him that night.

During the Q&A, GELO revealed “Tweaker” being his favorite song on the project and the “turnt” energy behind all the records. They then ended with live questions from the audience, before heading upstairs to party for the evening.

The project clocks in at 13 tracks, with standout features from Glorilla and Lil Wayne.
