In a world where trends come and go, one thing remains timeless: Black beauty is a movement, not just a moment. It’s a culture, a community, a statement of identity—and now more than ever, it’s a powerful industry that deserves to be protected, celebrated, and elevated. That’s exactly what the Black Beauty Expo is doing.
We are not just another beauty show. We are setting a new standard.
As the Director of Education for the Black Beauty Expo and a beauty professional myself, I have witnessed firsthand the need for a space where all Black beauty professionals—from barbers to braiders, makeup artists to nail techs, estheticians to hairstylists—are seen, heard, and empowered. Our expo is more than booths and stages. It’s a cultural experience where education, creativity, commerce, and culture connect.
It’s about inclusion—real, authentic inclusion. Not just of professionals at the top of the game, but of aspiring artists, emerging entrepreneurs, student stylists, and the very consumers who fuel our industry with support and loyalty.
We bring it all to the table:
- Live education that gives tools to build profitable beauty businesses
- Competitions that push creative boundaries and showcase raw talent
- Panel talks that speak to legacy, innovation, and the future of Black beauty
- Vendors and brands that value our dollars and speak to our needs
- And yes—vibes and culture that reflect who we are, unapologetically
This is what sets us apart.
The Black Beauty Expo isn’t just about hair, makeup, or style—it’s about Black excellence in every shade, on every level. We are building bridges across generations, genres, and geographies. From salons to studios, East Coast to West Coast, Gen X to Gen Alpha—we are turning up the volume on voices that have long been muted in mainstream beauty spaces.
And the movement continues—our next show is happening August 2–3rd, and we’re bringing the energy, education, and excellence like never before.
So, whether you’re a seasoned professional, a new student, or simply someone who loves and supports Black beauty, you belong here. This is your space. This is your time. This is your standard.
Welcome to the Black Beauty Expo.
We’re not just showcasing beauty. We’re shifting the culture.
