FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

This week, Pour Minds, the culture-forward podcast hosted by Lex P and Drea Nicole, released a

timely and moving interview with multi-platinum recording artist and entrepreneur Ciara. Titled

CiCi’s Prayer,” the episode offers an intimate look at the artist’s evolving purpose, motherhood,

and commitment to legacy—both in business and community.

Fresh off being honored with “Ciara Day” in the city of Atlanta, Ciara joins the hosts to reflect

on her recent philanthropic milestone: opening a fully renovated dance studio at the John H.

Harland Boys & Girls Club through the Why Not You Foundation, which she co-founded with

husband Russell Wilson. The new space is designed to inspire and support Atlanta youth

through movement, education, and mentorship.

The episode explores a range of topics, including:

● The significance of Ciara Day and her ongoing investment in Atlanta youth

● Her partnership with the Boys & Girls Club and long-term vision for the Why Not You Foundation

● Gaining dual citizenship in Benin and connecting with her African heritage

● Balancing marriage, motherhood, and personal ambition● The development of her skincare brand

OAM Skin and her co-ownership of Ten To One Rum

● The creative process behind her upcoming album CiCi, set for release on August 22

● Her personal definition of submission in a healthy relationship and what it means to be “equally

yoked”

● The deeper meaning behind “the prayer” and how faith continues to guide her career and home life

“Ciara offered insight not just into her public success, but the private values that anchor her,” said

Lex P. “She’s intentional in every part of her life.”

“This conversation felt like sitting with someone who’s walked through every season and is still

choosing joy, peace, and purpose,” added Drea Nicole.

The conversation is a continuation of Pour Minds’ mission: to center real, unfiltered discussions

around relationships, personal growth, and the evolving journeys of Black women.

“CiCi’s Prayer” is available now on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, iHeart, and Patreon.
