Roz Verde is much more than someone seeking wealth through a prominent relationship. She is a mother, daughter, and business owner who is dedicated to her personal growth and strives to be the best version of herself as she navigates life’s challenges. Hailing from North Jersey, this ambitious talented entrepreneur has a list of accomplishments already under her belt and doesn’t seem to be slowing down for more. Although you may recognize her from a brief personal relationship history with rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, Roz Verde wants to be Crystal clear that she is about standing in her own light.
The biggest learning lesson she experienced about closing a challenging chapter with Tekashi was that as a woman you should have your own. Although the two didn’t stand the end of time, Roz feels extremely blessed with the birth of her son. As a proud mother and more, she is the perfect example to women that building your foundation is important. She emphasizes that it is important for women to possess a strong personality and to have their own businesses.
“Don’t chase anyone, money, love or validation.” Roz Verde
As a successful mother of two boys, the journey that she has been on in life molded her into the powerful force that she is walking in today. As a music artist, influencer, and business owner, Roz wants young girls to “never wait for permission and fall in love with yourself first.” These are just two of the life hacks that she has implemented into her mental affirmations. While balancing motherhood and a busy life in the entertainment industry Roz has learned the importance of taking a pivot.
Before moving back to her home state of New Jersey she spent 10 years in Florida enjoying the sunshine and picking up new business ventures. While there she picked up her Real Estate license with Grant and Associates. To stay productive as an entrepreneur she started a wedding company called ‘Eternal Celebrations’ which she mentions is doing well. The company performs for a distinctive clientele. Demonstrating remarkable dedication, she successfully completed her education as a Medical Assistant with perfect grades. With this new direction, she has advanced her success and is now planning to publish an eBook. This resource will provide consumers with the appropriate tools and guidance needed to achieve their certifications successfully. As a serial entrepreneur, she also has a skincare line called Risen Skin Care.
Despite having so many different avenues she can choose for success, her purpose in life is creating music.
“When I was 9 – years old I did my 1st talent show and got a standing ovation” Roz Verde
If you are familiar with Roz, then you may know some of her well-known singles such as ‘Check’ and T-Roz. In addition to these, she is also capable of singing. I took a stroll down her social media pages and caught her singing a Keke Wyatt song like the rent was due! She is practicing her vocals and preparing her fans for a full project sometime later this year. This is an artist who doesn’t want to be unfairly judged or categorized in just one lane. For her upcoming project, fans can expect to see her true range as an artist both singing and rapping. Roz and her team are not only preparing to release her full project but she is also set to open her very own recording studio. One would wonder how this rising star finds time to maintain new business ventures and a music career. Her entrepreneurial mindset was passed down by her father whom she says was her biggest inspiration creatively.
Roz Verde is known for her supportive and empowering attitude towards other women. In short, she is a ‘girl’s girl. She’s all for women’s empowerment and seeing her peers win. Her goal with the upcoming music is to provide meaningful content and tell engaging stories during these challenging global times.
SHEEN MAGAZINE interviews Roz Verde:
What has been a particular situation that you witnessed in the news or online and how did it impact you mentally?
There was a story I saw online about a young mother who overcame homelessness while raising her children and eventually became a successful entrepreneur. That hit me deeply. As a mother myself, I know how heavy responsibility can feel when you’re building a future not just for yourself, but for your children. It reminded me that resilience isn’t always loud, it’s often quiet, consistent, and fueled by love. It gave me a mental reset and reinforced my “no excuses” mindset. It made me want to go harder.
As an artist, when do you feel inspired enough to create music?
I feel inspired to create music when I’m processing real emotions—love, pain, growth, and even pettiness. I create when I need to speak on something I can’t say aloud in real life. Sometimes it’s when I’m fed up, sometimes it’s when I feel sexy and in my power. But it’s always real. I don’t chase vibes, I let them hit me, and I turn them into sound.
What’s been the biggest reward so far in your career?
The biggest reward has been hearing people say, “Your music helped me get through something.” Or “I felt seen when I heard your lyrics.” That connection means everything. Money and milestones are cool, but knowing my truth helps somebody else heal or feel empowered. That’s the real win. That’s a legacy.
