[Los Angeles, CA – May 30, 2025] — Genre-bendring rapper sosocamo returns with “there he go,” a melodically intoxicating track out now via broke. The brand-new single finds the North Carolina firebrand offering music that is both honest and full of flex. Listen HERE.
Speaking about his new single, sosocamo explains: “‘there he go’ is about the changes I’ve been going through in my career. It’s exciting, but scary at the same time. I’m just learning to have fun with it all.”
“there he go” finds a sweet spot between nonchalance and relatability. It’s obvious that sosocamo himself is the star of the show, boasting fat pockets, foreign whips, and a natural desire for growth. As one of the most intriguing new voices coming out of the Carolinas, he floats through the dreamy instrumental with ease: “Few bands on me and I didn’t notice/Blow a bag on her, that money falling/Got that Patek on me, that money calling,” he confesses.
It’s abundantly clear that sosocamo never stops pushing himself to progress as an artist. He continues to level up with each release, and his latest offering chronicles a come-up that feels ongoing. Already co-signed by top streamers like Jynxzi, Ray (Kai Cenat), Rakai, and Philadelphia 76ers guard Jared McCain, sosocamo’s rise is impossible to ignore – quickly capturing the attention of Gen Alpha.
Rap’s self-proclaimed “Rookie of the Year” is carving out a space uniquely his own. As he navigates through themes of grit, grind, and resilience, sosocamo’s laid-back style and tasteful production will undoubtedly pave the way for his 2025 takeover. ABOUT SOSOCAMO
Hailing from Apex, North Carolina, Sosocamo is redefining Southern rap with a sound he calls “big country.” Raised in the rural South and influenced by early Atlanta trap, he found his way into music through his father, a producer who sparked his passion for the studio. His style fuses deep-rooted Southern energy with futuristic synths and off-kilter drums, creating something that feels both familiar and completely new. His girlfriend and closest collaborator, Grayto, has executive produced his last two albums, helping shape his distinct vision. In winter 2024, his single “keep steady” took off, landing him on the Spotify viral charts in the U.S. and Canada—proof that Sosocamo is only getting started.
