Track star Sydney McLaughlin beats another record by staying motivated and keeping a positive mindset in the competitive world of track.

This is the fourth time in 13 months, the 22-year-old set the world record. Now that’s impressive.  On Friday, McLaughlin ran the 400-meter hurdles at world championships in 50.68 seconds. She beat her old mark by 0.73 seconds, this had everyone amazed because this  haven’t been seen in 33 years.

She beat second-place finisher Femke Bol of the Netherlands by 1.59 seconds. McLaughlin’s main competitor , Dalilah Muhammad, finished third in 53.13 seconds, a time that would’ve won the world title seven years ago.

After, McLaughlin received her gold medal and a $100,000 check —  for her outstanding record breaking performance . Congratulations to  Sydney McLaughlin  for leading by example that’s all things are obtainable with hardwork , preparation, and confidents in your ability. This marked the fourth straight major race in which McLaughlin rise above the mark. Way to go!!
