The Pre-ESPY Charity Celebration, held on Tuesday, July 15th at The Sunset Room in Hollywood, brought together celebrities, athletes, artists, and community leaders in support of the victims of the devastating Eaton Fire in Altadena, CA.
Presented by TreImage and Clinch Entertainment, with sponsorship from Becker Law Group and McNicholas & McNicholas LLP, the evening was a heartfelt fundraiser focused on unity, resilience, and recovery. Attendees were welcomed into a vibrant VIP Lounge with gourmet offerings curated by Chef Nikita Leone, featured on America’s Test Kitchen: The Next Generation (Season 2).
The event was hosted by Ray-Ray McCloud III, NFL Wide Receiver for the Atlanta Falcons, who also gave a special live performance alongside Ronte of Legendary Tribe. Guests were treated to a surprise performance by Bre-Z (star of All American and Empire), who joined Ray-Ray on stage for an unforgettable moment.
Live musical performances also included: Will Gittens – Grammy Award-winning artist and songwriter (Chris Brown); and GoGo Morrow – Recording artist who performed her hit song “Don’t Stop”.
The red carpet and VIP experience welcomed a range of celebrity guests and athletes who came out to support the cause, including: Clarence Verdin – Pro Bowl NFL Player (Washington Redskins, Colts, Falcons); Elliette Jackson – Defensive Coach, Houston Texans; Marcus Lovett Jr. – International pro basketball player; Elizabeth Vargas – RHOC, host of Girl Talk; Jennifer Aydin – RHONJ; Erica Rose – The Bachelor, Below Deck; Porscha Coleman – Hollywood Today Live, Dad Stop Embarrassing Me; Kareem Grimes – All American; Tia P. – Rhythm & Flow (Netflix); YesJulz – Influencer; Daphnique Springs – Comedian and star of LOL Live with Daphnique Springs on Hulu; Dr. Sam Nguyen – Socialite; philanthropist; entrepreneur.

Heartfelt speeches grounded the evening and added emotional depth to the festivities. Todd Becker, lead attorney at Becker Law Group, shared: “This fire is personal to me because it’s my hometown, and I will do what I can to support the community.”
Later in the evening, Charles Singleton, CEO of TreImage, emphasized the spirit of the event: “Events like this remind us of the strength and compassion in our community.” Adding to the sentiment, Michelle Stokes, Founder of Clinch Entertainment, stated: “It’s heartening to see so many people come together for a common cause. Every contribution makes a difference.”
This successful event not only raised vital funds and awareness for those affected by the Eaton Fire, but it also underscored the entertainment and sports community’s strong commitment to giving back.
