The epic trilogy of Taylor Vs. Serrano 3 came to an end on July 11th at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The epic, sold-out event changed the game in women’s sport and became the most-watched women’s sporting event in U.S. history. More than 60 million households globally streamed the week-long countdown to the record-breaking event, which featured 17 championship wins in one night —a first for a single boxing card in the four-belt era.

The boxing match was not only hosted by two undisputed super lightweight champions, but 16 champions in eight different boxing matches. The main card was Irish-import Katie, KT, Taylor, 39, vs. Puerto Rico-born Amanda, The Real Deal, Serrano, 36, entered its 3rd match and settled the greatest rivalry in women’s boxing.

The other 14 female boxers include: Pittsburg-native Mary Casamassa, 25, Mexican-import Yamileth, La Heredera (The Heiress), Mercado,27, U.K-import Ellie Scotney,27, Canadian-import Tammara, Tamm, Thibeault,28, Australia-import Cherneka “Sugar Neekz” Johnson,30, Alycia, The Bomb, Baumgardner, 31, U.K.-import Chantelle Cameron,34, Brazil-import Lila Furtado, 34, U.K.-import Savannah, Silent Assassin, Marshall,34, New Jersey-born Shadasia, The Sweet Terminator, Green, 35, Africa-import Ramala, Chingona, Ali,35, Madrid-born Jennifer Miranada,37, Canadian-import Jessica Camara,37, and Texas-born Shurretta, Chiccn, Mercalf,40,

Most Valuable Promotions(MVP) and streaming service Netflix partner up for the most epic fight week promotion, inviting media outlets, social media personalities, community outreach groups, celebrities, and sports lovers to be part of sports history and change the game in women’s sports. Most Valuable Promotions held a three-day fight week promotion in New York City, bringing out the smoke, introducing each of the fighters to the ring, and preparing them for Friday’s showdown.

The first day of the fight week promotion was held on Tuesday, July 8th, for the MVP free and open workouts at The Oculus at World Trade Center at 50 Church Street in Lower Manhattan.
At 5 P.M., the open workout didn’t disappoint with larger-than-life blow-ups of Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano with the lights representing the Irish and Puerto Rican Flags in one of New York City’s busiest landmarks.

Netflix was live with FOX and ESPN commentator Dan Canobbio (IG@dancanobbio) and Showtime’s talk show host Cory Erdman(IG@erdamania), who was live on Netflix’s YouTube channel streaming live from The Oculus. MVP promotions had a ringside set-up with the MVP models (IG@themvpmodels) ready to count down the rounds for each boxer. The ringside event was professionally hosted by the Master of Ceremonies, Kody, Big Mo, and Mommaerts. (IG@offical.bigmo).

 

More surprise guests attended the open workouts, including New York Social Media comedian Sexxy Stace Face (IG@sexxystaceface). She attended the workouts and met Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano and reported ringside for the Oculus for her Instagram, “These MVP girls got nothing on me! We outside baby!” she said.

Many community organizations were ringside like the Boxing Bullies Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by social media personality and professional boxer Jake Paul, who is also co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions (MVP). He made an appearance and signed autographs for the children from his foundation.

There were two special two-fight card full-on sanctioned boxing matches with Agustina, La Princesa (The Princess), Vazquez, 22 vs. Puerto-Rico born Krystal Rosado (IG@krys.rosado), 22. Rosado is the protégé of Amanda Serrano with an undefeated record of 5-0.

The match was refereed by Professional Boxing Referee Eddie Claudio. (IG@eclau66085). Once the bell rang, the gloves were on and fists went flying as the two boxers threw 214 punches in an amazing record time of two minutes and 14 seconds. Rosado won with two knockouts in four, three-minute rounds, with Vazquez falling out with no knockouts.

The second fight was with Puerto-Rico born Elise Soto(IG@elisesoto_7), 20, Vs. Pittsburgh–born Colleen, Chaos, Davis, 34 (IG@colleenodavis). Soto is a 2nd protégé of Serrano, and defeated Davis in under two minutes with a record of 8-0 knockouts. Each winner was announced by Jake Paul himself and awarded their WBC champion belt. “She is sharp, skillful, and super precise,” said Paul.

After the matches, commentators Dan Canobbio and Cory Erdman. Erdman called these matches “a nailbiter”. They were joined by Jake Paul and MVP Promotions co-founder Nakisa Bidarian. “This is what makes women’s boxing exciting!” said Bidarian. “It was incredible and fun to watch!” said Paul.

After each workout, each boxer was interviewed by Emmy-winning host and producer Sibley Scoles (IG@sib_vicious). After she won, Scoles took a moment to speak to Soto in the ring,
“I am so blessed to be part of this iconic event!” said Soto.” I am blessed to be here and to cement history,” she said.

Scoles entered the ring and spoke to some of the other boxers in the ring. Scoles spoke to East African boxer Ramla Ali, “You are an amazing boxer and activist!” said Scoles. She asked Ali how it feels to be in this historic event. “It is a great first to add to the list of many firsts I accomplished,” said Ali. “I am so humbled and honored to be here. I am excited to be in the biggest female show of all time. I am fighting for all the little girls that feel like they can’t dream,” she said.

When interviewing, Boxer Jennifer Miranda on her plan towards the countdown to Friday’s showdown when she takes on Alycia, The Bomb, Baumgardner in the ring. “There is no pressure,” said Miranada. “I just have to enjoy the road, enjoy the moment, and enjoy life. These are the things I believe in because things can change drastically. I just want to take advantage of the opportunity!” she said.

Scoles next spoke to her contender, Baumgardner. Standing next to Jake Paul, she asked the boxer what challenges she had to overcome to reach this stage in her career. ”I am excited and super grateful to be here. It stretched me, but has been the biggest challenge most positively,” said Baumgardner. “I am also fighting for my dad, who is here in Spirit,” she said
Baumgardner also took a moment to announce that she is giving away 200 tickets to the Boxing Bullies Foundation for Friday’s fight at Madison Square Garden.

Scoles spoke with Katie Taylor, who came out proudly waving the Irish flag. She asked the three-time champion how she was going to top all of her past performances on Friday at Madison Square Garden.” It will turn out Iconic on Friday night!” said Taylor. “It’s so amazing to see little girls and the next generation get excited about boxing!” she said

The last boxer to step into the ring. Amanda Serrano came out proudly, waving the Puerto Rican flag and spoke to Scoles with her protégée Krystal Rosado by her side. She asked Serrano about her mental preparedness for Friday’s match, and she said, “I’m all in and I’m down!” she said. “I can’t wait for Friday night! I am extremely happy and proud of this opportunity! This is the future!” she said.

The Fight Week enters its second day with the open press conference held in The Theater at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, July 9th. The press conference had media outlets from all over the world, including ESPN and Telemundo. The host of the press conference was Yahoo! Sports host Ariel Helwani (IG@arielhelwani). Each fighter was present and spoke to the media and sports fans what the countdown to Friday’s fight. MVP Promotions co-founder Nakisa Bidarian.

He took a moment to consider how this event would change women’s sports and the preparation that went into this event. ”Paul and I met up on July 4th in a three-hour meeting to get this event right for the fighters and the sports fans. My partner has put his money and time into building this platform for women’s sports. We are all here for one reason, and that is greatness,” said Bidarian.

“Without their jaw-dropping performances, this opportunity would not exist. These women are helping lift the sport for all women. They are all GOATS! More importantly are breaking barriers for women and showing that they, too, can achieve greatness. On Friday night, this event will become the most-viewed sports event in 2025. I cannot wait to see what these fighters have in store for us!” he said. “These are a collection of fighters that are ready to make their mark and carry the torch!”

Bidarian then made the next major announcement that had never been done before in a boxing match. He announced a $250,000 performance bonus for Performance of the Night, which will be awarded to any fighter. “The crowd went wild. “Every fighter on this stage has a chance to walk away with the bonus based on performance. It makes the stakes even higher,” said Bidarian. “We will see who steals the show!”

 

The performance bonus will be judged by Bidarian and retired professional boxer Laila Ali.
(IG@thereallailaali). Ali is the daughter of Legendary Boxer Muhammad Ali and is the female undefeated Super Middleweight and Light Middleweight Champion. She retired from boxing in 2007. This is the largest bonus ever in the history of boxing. Ali will have the final say on the winner of the bonus. Amanda Serrano attempted to distance herself from the performance bonus. However, all the fighters have a chance to win the massive bonus.

Boxer Cherneka Johnson spoke to the media outlets on the performance bonus.” The money is nice, but I have a job to do and that is my main focus,” said Johnson. “The money would just be a bonus,” she said.

Boxer Alycia Baumgardner took a moment to speak about the bonus. “I like that! I lit up like a Christmas tree!” said Baumgardner.” All I could think about is the pound of a brick I have when I land this left hook on Jennifer Miranda, that’s worth $250,000,” she said

Boxer Chantelle Cameron spoke on the performance bonus. ”I will be 100% thinking about the bonus when I step into the ring,” said Cameron. “But, my guilty pleasure is a Rolex watch!’’
She said.

The final day in the Fight Week was again held at Madison Square Garden in The Theater with the open and public weigh-in on Thursday, July 10th. The boxing weigh-ins are to ensure that all of the fighters are of a similar size to make the fights safe and more competitive. Each fighter came out and was weighed in, and things got heated on stage.

When boxers Alycia Baumgardner and Jennifer Miranda did a final face-off on stage, Baumgardner, rocking a green snakeskin one-piece, aggressively got in Miranda’s face and started trash-talking and a shoving match on stage. Words were exchanged and the crowd roared, as Baumgardner confidently told the crowd show would be the champion of Friday’s fight

Each boxer was weighed in by Jake Paul. Each of the registered weights is as follows:

On Friday, July 11th, live on Netflix at Madison Square Garden, the match for Undisputed Super Lightweight Championship premiered with eight different three-minute rounds of all the fights. This is a new change in a women’s boxing match. Fighting over three-minute boxing matches is the standard in men’s boxing, but the game will change in tonight’s all female event historic all-female event.

The first fight of the night was Theibeault Vs. Casamassa. The two-time Olympian Theibeault came out on top being the undefeated boxer with three knockouts. The next fight, Ali Vs. Furtado’s fight was intense, in eye contact with Ali, defeating Furtado with eight full rounds. The next fight is Cameron Vs. Camara, Cameron came out on top, fighting a full 10 rounds in the ring. The next fight is Johnson Vs. Metcalf was a match with big shots, with Johnson winning the match. The Green Vs. Marshall’s fight was won by Green in a full 10-round battle. In the Scotney vs.Mercado match, Scotney came out on top after 10 intense rounds. The Baumgardner Vs. The Miranda match was the bloodiest, leaving Miranda’s face swollen and bruised. Baumgardner came out on top as the winner.

The main event finally came with Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano stepping into the ring. The intense 10-round fight set a record of 324 punches. Despite Serrano’s quick hand work, Taylor won the match and remained the undisputed champion of the night.

The event came to an end with the announcement of the $250,000 performance bonus for Best Performance of the Night at a press conference held on July 12th. MVP Promotions co-founder Nakisa Bidarian and Jake Paul announced that the performance bonus was awarded to Shadasia Green. She is the winner of the Super Middleweight Title and the performance bonus.

“I am blessed and honored,” said Green at the final press conference. “My opponent, Marshall, is a tough cookie. Paul gave me something that was missing from my career, and that is self-belief, and today I believe,” she said.
