On a beautiful Friday in Los Angeles, there was only one place to be: The Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards.

Taking place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the fifth year in a row, this highly-anticipated event honors the icons and leaders who have not only made a lasting impact on the entertainment industry, but the culture as a whole. Hosted by the hilarious Tiffany Haddish, HU’s Impact Awards highlight recipients’ contributions across the genres of music, film, media, political, social and creative industries.

This year proved to be the best one yet. The red carpet saw celebrity sightings such as Tiffany Haddish, Keke Palmer, Yolanda Adams, Chrisean, B. Simone, and so many more.

But the couples might have been the ones to steal the night! From Meagan Good and Jonathon Majors to Niecy Nash and Jessica Betts to DaBrat and Judy, we were all here for the romance in the air.

This year’s honorees include The Inspiration Award to Fantasia, The Social Impact Award to Don Lemon, The Spirit Award to Keke Palmer, The Fearlessness Award to Niecy Nash Betts, The Community Award to Vic Mensa, and The Culture Award to Warren G.

 

Babyface served as the music director for the ceremony, which featured standout performances from Fantasia, Yolanda Adams, and Johnny Gill.
