On Monday, May 19, MLB All-Star and New York Yankees second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. hosted his 2nd Annual Jazz Chisholm Foundation Fashion Show in New York City, bringing together a dynamic mix of athletes, musicians, and media personalities to support underserved youth and families in New York, Florida, and the Bahamas. The event celebrated the intersection of fashion, sports, and philanthropy, featuring a runway show where Jazz and celebrity guests showcased their signature “tunnel fits” and sneakers.
Notable attendees included New York Yankees players Gerrit Cole, Cody Bellinger, and J.C. Escarra; Texas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager;New York Jets linebacker Jamien Sherwood; baseball players Nick Gordon and Lucius “Legenlu” Fox; MLB Network host Siera Santos, DJ and media personality Ivy Rivera, Latin artist Yaisel LM; hip-hop artists Lord Sko and Niko Brim, and more.
The evening also featured a live auction with exclusive high-end items, including:
- A new 2024 Rolex Datejust 41mm Jubilee Stainless Steel men’s watch
- A Hermès HAC A Dos PM Backpack in Black Togo with Palladium Hardware
- A 3L bottle of Ace of Spades Brut Gold Champagne in a gift box, signed by the entire Yankees
Although former MLB player Robinson Canó could not attend in person, he supported the event by placing the winning bid on the signed champagne bottle.
The event successfully raised nearly $200,000 to benefit the Jazz Chisholm Jr. Foundation and its mission to empower young athletes and families through programs centered on sports, education, and community development. Jazz’s unwavering commitment to giving back was on full display, furthering the Foundation’s vision of building lasting opportunities for the next generation.
