With the first season of “BET Presents: The Encore” closing, fans are begging for Nivea to have an entire show dedicated only to her.

When the series premiered on June 9th, the “Complicated” singer immediately became a fan favorite. Her bubbly personality and unmatched talent captivated viewers, who were pleased to be reacclimated with the star, who has been quiet musically for several years.

The Encore garnered immediate popularity, as fans flocked to see Shamari De’Voe of Blaque, Aubrey O’Day of Danity Kane, Kiely Williams of 3LW, 702 sisters Irish, and LeMisha Grinstead, and Pamela Long of Total all come together to form a supergroup. What made Nivea’s position on the series extra special was the fact that she was the only solo singer in the house, further confirming that she could always hold her own vocally.

As the weeks went on, Nivea supporters fell deeper under her spell listening to her voice dominate on records while she steered clear of the catty drama. The mother and former wife of The Dream graciously exhibited her transparency, opening up about the loss of her mother and love for her children. However, as the finale neared, Nivea’s emotions reached a breaking point, causing her to eliminate herself from the house.

While her supporters were devastated to see her leave, they are begging networks to ensure that this is not the last we see of Nivea. One Twitter user wrote, “I would love for Nivea to get her own show. She was such a pleasure to see on TV. She has a very fun personality,” while another tweeted, “#TheEncoreBET has reminded me how much I miss Nivea. I hope she gives us an album soon.  AND gets a show about her getting back out there & creating.”

Calls for Nivea to receive her own docu-series exploded even before viewers witnessed her tense exit from The Encore. Soon after the show premiered, she sat down for an interview with Kandi Burress for “On That Note,” where she was open about her past drug use, hardships growing up, and having children by both Lil Wayne and The Dream. Her level of transparency only further confirmed that the prolific singer, who walked away from a promising singing career while in her prime, needs a show dedicated solely to her life and the many things she has overcome.

While Nivea hasn’t made much mention of what’s to come as The Encore‘s first season came to a close, her Instagram profile indicates that she continues to be booked and busy.

Let’s hope that to see more of this songstress in the near future.
