Urban One and Chevrolet continue their partnership, using their resources and platforms to create positive social and economic impact within Black communities across America. The second year of partnership creates space for conversations to be both held and heard to enable actionable change resulting in true progress. One Solution, the award-winning division of Urban One, and Chevrolet have launched a new cross-platform campaign, Real Talk Drives Real Change, bringing imperative conversations to the forefront with a four-market tour.

The Real Talk Drives Real Change tour hosted by Pop culture and political commentator, Mike Muse, kicked off in Washington D.C. on June 26th with legendary Civil Rights leader, Ben Chavis and Music Icon, Young Guru and others joining the panel to discuss Higher Education Access. Then on Sunday, July 24th, Nse Ufot, Chief Executive Officer of the New Georgia Project; Mysonne the General, Hip-Hop Artist and Criminal Justice Reform Activist; and Civil Rights Attorney, Lee Merritt, joined the conversation to discuss policy and justice reform, followed by a legendary performance from R&B singer, Mario.

The Real Talk Drives Real Change tour is coming to Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love, Sunday, August 28, 2022 at 5pm EST for a much-needed conversation on mental health and wellness. The panel will include Gia Peppers, an award-winning on-air talent, entertainment journalist, content creator, and podcaster who is most known for her work as a contributor on NBC’s primetime morning show, “Today Show,” her nationally syndicated Urban One Radio show and podcast, “More Than That with Gia Peppers,” and as 1/5th of the wildly popular podcast, “Black Girl Pod.” Renowned licensed therapist, mental health advocate, best selling author, and podcast host, Celeste the Therapist, who has been a featured mainstay on Healthline, The Washington Post, NBC News, TV One, Fox Soul and more. The forum will tackle topics that have been taboo to us for generations; all while exploring the importance of mental health and wellness through the lens of science vs. spirituality, and seek to answer pondering questions such as: How do these things coexist in the Black community? How can we increase awareness and trial of mental health wellness and support?

At this fun-filled, free ticketed event, attendees will enjoy panel discussions, shopping from on-site vendors, and a live DJ to keep the music and vibe going, along with a sensational performance by Bel Air Actress, singer and songwriter, Coco Jones! Known for her breakout new role as Hilary Banks on Peacock’s Bel Aire, Coco Jones is a TikTok sensation, and Def Jam’s newest artist!
