It is always a special occasion when legends can come together to celebrate and be honored for all of their accomplishments, the Black Music Honors was one of those occasions. The 2017 Black Music Honors was hosted in Nashville, TN on Saturday, August 20th. The show had an astounding line up to pay homage to The Jacksons, Jody Watley, Slick Rick, Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Guy and Oleta Adams, along with performances by Kid N Play, SWV, Da Brat, Sevyn Street and many more!

The Jackson 5 received a Lifetime Achievement Award, Donnie McClurkin was honored with the Gospel Music Icon and Guy won the R&B Soul Music Icon Award.
