Did you know it’s been nearly a decade since Brandy blessed us with a new album? Well guess what? The wait is over!
Get excited because Brandy is preparing to release her seventh album titled ‘b7′.
Just last week, Brandy released her single “Baby Mama” featuring Chance the Rapper from the new album.
Shortly after, Brandy released the cover art for the highly anticipated album.
Brandy’s goal for the cover art was to pay homage to her idol, Whitney Houston.
As you can see in the album cover below, the headdress was inspired by what Houston wore in the 1992 film, The Bodyguard.
Brandy kicked off Mother’s Day 2020 in a at-home performance on “Baby Mama” on Good Morning America.
Brandy’s album b7 releases on July 31st.
