Robert Ross, popularly known as Black Rob passed away over the weekend at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Rolling Stone reported that the Grammy-nominated artist passed away Saturday, April 17th, 2021. Close friend of Ross, Mark Curry revealed that the cause of death was cardiac arrest, which was caused by a rare kidney disease.
Curry shared video updates, where he was accompanied by Ross in the hospital.
According to this good friend, Ross has been on dialysis for five years. Deadline also reported that the former Bad Boy rapper unfortunately has had a history of kidney failure and diabetes that resulted in several strokes within the past few years.
Many stars including Diddy and LL Cool J took it to social media to pay tribute to the rapper.
