  1. Start Small:  Smaller changes are more beneficial because they’re easier to maintain. For example: A little more water is always a good start. Consistency matters in the long game.

  1. Keep Moving: Whether it’s going for a long walk, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, taking a quick five (5) minute jog or a 30 minute HIIT class. Keeping the body active is always a plus at any age.

  1. Be Creative: Your workouts shouldn’t be boring or tedious. Have fun with them. The more fun you have, the more consistent you’ll be, the results will definitely come.

  1. Sleep: A good night’s sleep allows the body to recover and reset for the day. Make sure you are getting more hours of sleep. According to the National Sleep Foundation a solid 7-9 hours of sleep is beneficial for a healthy adult.

  1. Be Positive: Always speak life into everything you do. This journey is yours to maneuver and although things can get difficult, ALWAYS be positive. You always get back what you put in, so make it good.
