The highly anticipated sequel for Coming 2 America has an official premiere date!
The film, starring Eddie Murphy will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on March 5th, 2021. In this sequel, Kim Akeem (portrayed by Murphy) and his confidante Semmi will go on Queens, New York.
King Akeem discovers that he has a son he was not aware of. Original members of the first film’s cast will make an appearance in the sequel including James Earl Jones, Shari Headley, John Amos, and many more!
There are also new cast members including Wesley Snipes, Leslie Jones, Tracy Morgan, Jermain Fowler, Bella Murphy, Rotimi, KiKi Layne, Teyana Taylor, and more!
This project is directed by Craig Brewer while Eddie Murphy Products and Misher Films serve as producers.
