Dr. Dre who is one of the greatest producers of all time is set to perform at the 2022 Super Bowl alongside Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar. The NFL, Pepsi and Roc Nation made the huge announcement on Thursday September 30, 2021 that the five music greats will perform on Feb. 13 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Lamar are all California natives. Dr. Dre made the following statement, “The opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show, and to do it in my own backyard, will be one of the biggest thrills of my career”.

He continued on, “I’m grateful to Jay-Z, Roc Nation, the NFL, and Pepsi as well as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar for joining me in what will be an unforgettable cultural moment.”

This will definitely go down as one of the greatest performances in super bowl history and it is going to be so huge for music as well as the culture.
